Project Description
Demolition of existing refreshment kiosk in the Geraldine Mary Harmsworth Park in front of the Imperial War Musuem and construction of new refreshment kiosk with public conveniences and associated works to adjacent listed wall including full height opening.
The design of the kiosk derives from the forms and materials found as exhibits within the Imperial War Museum such as the tanks, aeroplanes and boats and from its position in the park, responding to the main east-west axis and the front entrance of the park.
